How long do Gimme eggs stay fresh?
Best before fifteen days from the packing date printed on the tray, or thirty days if you keep them refrigerated from the day you buy them.
Should eggs go in the fridge?
In a Bengal summer, yes. Keep them pointed end down in the coldest part of the fridge — not in the door.
Is the stamp on the shell safe?
Yes. We stamp every egg with food-grade ink, so it is safe even if a little rubs off on your hands.
Brown or white — which is healthier?
Shell colour comes from the breed of hen, not the nutrition. What changes the yolk is the feed, which is why Multigrain tastes different.
Do you deliver outside West Bengal?
Not yet. We supply Kolkata and the districts through retail and modern trade partners, with more on the way.
